Future You is a free, evidence-based, curriculum-aligned program helping to challenge stereotypes and encourage students to explore all the possibilities within STEM careers.
This initiative is funded by the Commonwealth Government and delivered by the Office of Australia’s Women in STEM Ambassador.
The initiative hopes to inspire an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) careers amongst students aged 8 to 12. STEM is a major growth area for jobs of the future, but there is currently a shortage of people who have the skills needed to tackle our greatest challenges.
Future You aims to show students the world of opportunities awaiting them through the development of STEM skills.
The program is also designed to give teachers, carers, and families the information they need to encourage children to think about what STEM could offer them, and what they could do with STEM skills to help build a better future.
Check out the website and explore the resources. This includes films, classroom activities and career resource packs. Why not share this content to get everyone excited about STEM career possibilities.
