The Rarest Drug on Earth

This short film highlights TRIUMF’s (Canada’s particle physics laboratory) efforts to produce a special radioactive isotope nicknamed the “rarest drug on Earth” which can deliver devastating amounts of energy to single cancer cells without harming nearby tissue, and could revolutionise the way we treat cancer.
