The D.I.Y. Science series contains some of our favourite experiments for kids to try at home. They are designed to help school teachers and carers inspire a child’s curiosity in science. It’s time to get hands-on.

In this episode, you will learn how to make a miniature greenhouse that you can grow seeds in.

This resource is best suited to students in years 6 and 8 studying Chemistry and Biology. It looks at how water changes stated from liquid to gas and also the conditions that the seeds require to grow.

Some alfalfa seeds
5 x cotton balls
2 x clear plastic cups
