Find out about the different STEM careers involved during a day in the life of a 7-year-old.
This short video and corresponding activity would be well suited to students looking to raise their STEM career awareness in years 2 – 10.
See below for suggestions on how to use this resource in the classroom and for downloadable teachers’ resources.
STELR aims to raise awareness of opportunities in technology-related careers in order to increase the number of students choosing science and engineering careers and to address the shortage of science and engineering graduates. One of the reasons that students do not choose to pursue these careers is that they often do not understand what the career entails. You can find more inspirational career profiles on their website at stelr.org.au.
