Kelly works as a Geologist for a Mineral Exploration company – a modern-day explorer here in Australia.

She didn’t really know what she wanted to do when she left school so started off doing both general Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degrees, but then found her passion for rocks and specialised in Geology from her second year.

Follow Kelly as she talks about the perks and highs of her role, and how her understanding of the world around us gives such rewards.

This resource is best suited to students in Years 4 and 8 who are learning about the Earth’s surface, elements and rocks and who want to find out more about careers in this field.
