Josh combined his interest in Maths with his fascination of solving puzzles to become a medical modeller. He works to solve the problem of infectious disease spread world wide.

In this film, Josh talks about how he came to be working in his field, just what it is that he does each day, and why it’s so important.

This resource demonstrates an application of maths and statistics within the medical sector and how it has a huge impact on society. It is best suited to Year 8-10 students who are studying body systems and disease spread in Biology.
